The Ravens lost the leader in the middle of their defense in Pittsburgh, as Roquan Smith suffered a hamstring injury.
Smith came out of the game in the fourth quarter and was ruled out not long after.
Smith leads the Ravens in tackles this season and had a game-high 13, including two for loss, before the injury. He was having a strong game slowing down Pittsburgh's rushing attack.
Pittsburgh leaned on its ground game after Smith left the field, rolling down the field on runs of 8, 5, and 13 yards before Marlon Humphrey intercepted Russell Wilson in the end zone.
Smith was replaced by Malik Harrison, who lined up alongside Trenton Simpson.
Head Coach John Harbaugh didn't have an update on Smith after the game.
