Left guard Alex Lewis (neck) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, missing his second straight game since his injury suffered in Week 6.

Rookie left guard Bradley Bozeman (calf) is active and likely to make his second straight start in Lewis' absence, even though Bozeman was questionable on Friday's injury report.

Tight end Maxx Williams is inactive for the first time this season, as the Ravens are dressing seven offensive linemen and just three tight ends – Nick Boyle and rookies Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst. Williams has caught 14 passes this season, while Hurst has caught just one pass for seven yards and has been shut out the past two games.

However, Hurst was the first tight end drafted (25th overall) and was excellent during training camp and the preseason before suffering a stress fracturein his foot in August. Hurst missed the first four games of the season and has struggled to find a comfort zone since returning. With Williams inactive, Hurst could have a bigger role in the game plan against Carolina.

The Ravens' offensive line is injury-riddled with Lewis and right tackle James Hurst (back) missing for the second straight week. Rookie right tackle Orlando Brown Jr. is expected to make his second start and the Ravens decided not to risk dressing just six offensive linemen as they did last week. Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor is active after being signed to the 53-man roster earlier in the week from the practice squad, and offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu is also active.

Cornerback Jimmy Smith (groin) is active after being listed as questionable. Smith looks to bounce back from a subpar performance against New Orleans in Week 7. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey (thigh) is missing his second straight game, which makes Smith's presence in the secondary even more important. Humphrey has been the Ravens' most consistent cornerback this season. Rookie cornerback Anthony Averett is active for the first time since missing five games with a hamstring injury.

Also inactive for the Ravens are quarterback Robert Griffin III, wide receiver Jordan Lasley and defensive tackle Zach Sieler.

Ex-Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee) is inactive for the Panthers and will not face his former teammates. Also inactive for Carolina are safety Rashaan Gaulden, running back Cameron Artis-Payne, linebacker Andre Smith, guards Brendan Mahon and Amini Silatolu, and defensive end Marquis Haynes.
