Derrick Henry Sets Record With 87-Yard Touchdown Run

Derrick Henry sure looks good in all-black. Just ask the Buffalo Bills. They got a good look from behind.

Henry broke loose for an 87-yard touchdown run on the Ravens' first play from scrimmage on "Sunday Night Football" at M&T Bank Stadium.

It's the longest run from scrimmage in Ravens history, topping Le'Ron McClain's 82-yard touchdown run in Dallas in 2008. Henry made history in just the second home game of his Ravens career.

Henry reached 21.29 mph on the run, tied for the fourth-fastest speed of any ball carrier this season. The 30-year-old running back showed he still has another gear, outrunning Bills safety Damar Hamlin and defensive back Cam Lewis.

Henry is among the best homerun hitters in NFL history. Only two players, Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson, have more touchdown runs of 80+ yards in their career.

It's exactly the kind of run that the Ravens envisioned when they brought Henry to Baltimore and he made an early delivery.

Henry added a second touchdown on the first play of the second quarter, catching a pass in the flats from Lamar Jackson before winning the race to the pylon to put Baltimore up, 14-3.

After running for 151 yards and two touchdowns last week in Dallas, Henry is on a roll. And once the big man gets rolling, he's hard to stop.
