Roquan Smith Is Opening a Music Venue/Restaurant

Roquan Smith is a cultured guy, and he's turning some of his passions into a business.

The All-Pro linebacker and former Bear is a part of an ownership group that's opening music venue and restaurant Welcome to the Farm in Chicago, according to Eater Chicago.

NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler and singer-songwriter Chase Rice are also part of the ownership group.

The venue in River North is 10,000-square-feet and will frequently host live music, per Chicago Eater. Drinking Pig BBQ, a barbecue restaurant, will be at Welcome to the Farm. There are also locations in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Cleveland.

Smith was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round in 2018 and was traded to Baltimore partway through the 2022 season.

One of Smith's favorite sayings is "we're cooking with grease." Now he can put that into action.
