The Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades and snap counts are in from the Ravens' 41-10 rout of the Denver Broncos.
Here are the biggest takeaways:
- Zay Flowers has been on a roll with four 100-yard games over the past five weeks, but this was his best yet, according to PFF. Flowers' 94.5 grade is the highest of his young career and the highest of any wide receiver in the league in Week 9. He caught five passes for 127 yards, including a 53-yard score when he juked and pulled away from several Broncos defenders.
- It seemed like a statistical oddity that Flowers had only reached the end zone once so far this season before scoring a pair of touchdowns against the Broncos. Despite setting the rookie franchise record for receiving yards last season, Flowers only scored five touchdowns. Flowers tapped into his strong "backyard football" connection with Jackson on his first score versus Denver. Flowers is now PFF's 12th-highest graded wide receiver in the league this season.
- After logging the fourth perfect passer rating of his career, Lamar Jackson brought home a 93.0 grade. In what has been yet another sparkling season, that's Jackson's highest grade yet. Jackson is PFF's highest-graded quarterback in the league and had the highest grade of any signal-caller in Week 9, pending "Monday Night Football."
- Fullback Patrick Ricard played a season-high 63% of the offensive snaps, helping to pave the way for another 100-yard game for Derrick Henry. Ricard had point-of-attack blocks on Broncos outside linebacker Baron Browning on both of Henry's touchdown runs. Then Ricard got in on the fun, leaking into the flats to catch a 3-yard touchdown – his second score of the season.
- Despite drawing two penalties, Patrick Mekari got his highest grade by far at 90.8. He has adapted well to the move to left guard, and it has certainly strengthened Baltimore's offensive line.
- Second-year outside linebacker Tavius Robinson continues to post strong PFF grades. He led Baltimore with two sacks against Denver and has posted a grade over 70 in three straight weeks (five games total). Fellow second-year linebacker Trenton Simpson also got a sack, and his 72.1 grade is his second-highest of the season.
- New Ravens wide receiver Diontae Johnson had 17 snaps in his first game but didn't see a target. Johnson didn't play any special teams snaps. Nelson Agholor had 19 offensive snaps and Tylan Wallace had 20, which was inflated after the Ravens pulled their starters in the fourth quarter.
- After playing zero snaps last week, safety Marcus Williams returned to the starting lineup and played 88% of the snaps against the Broncos. Eddie Jackson was a healthy scratch. Williams posted his second-highest PFF grade of the season (65.0).
- The Ravens basically gave defensive tackle Travis Jones, who is dealing with an ankle injury, the game off. He played just one special teams snap and none on defense. Nnamdi Madubuike (68%), Broderick Washington (60%), Chris Wormley (42%), and Josh Tupou (38%) carried the load with Michael Pierce (calf) on injured reserve and Brent Urban (concussion) out. Washington had the highest grade of the bunch with a 70.8, and Wormley played well in his first game back with the Ravens (68.5).
- After dropping what would've been a game-winning interception last week in Cleveland, safety Kyle Hamilton bounced back with his highest grade of the year (88.4) to lead Baltimore's defense. Hamilton had a team-high 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, and a pass deflection.
- After missing last week's game due to injuries, cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (53%) and Nate Wiggins (44%) essentially split duties.
