Justice Hill Out for Finale; Bailey Zappe to Start at QB for Browns

The Ravens are entering their regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns relatively healthy, but running back Justice Hill (concussion/illness) will miss his second consecutive game.

He still carries his concussion designation after missing last week's game, but that's only because he hasn't taken the field yet.

"The illness is what's keeping him off the field right now; it's not the concussion. The concussion's gone," Head Coach John Harbaugh said Thursday.

Hill has been a very valuable No. 2 running back behind Derrick Henry all season long, and especially impactful as a receiver (383 yards, three touchdowns) and pass blocker.

With Hill out, it means more opportunities for Keaton Mitchell and rookie Rasheen Ali, who returned from a hip injury this week. Mitchell had 11 carries for 20 yards and a 28-yard catch and run last week stepping in for Hill.

Starting left guard Patrick Mekari (illness) returned to the field Thursday and is questionable for Saturday's game. Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is also questionable and would need to be activated from injured reserve to play against the Browns.

Wide receiver Nelson Agholor returned to full practice this week and will play after missing the past two games due to a concussion. Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) also was a full practice participant this week and could be moved off injured reserve to the 53-man roster.

Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis will be out for a third consecutive game are tweaking his hamstring right before the Giants game.

Left tackle Ronnie Stanley and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike both missed practices this week due to illness but have no injury designations heading into the game.

Bailey Zappe to Start at QB for Browns

After a week of mystery, the Browns' starting quarterback will be Bailey Zappe, according to multiple reports.

Zappe hasn't played in a game yet this season, but started six games last year in New England. He had a 2-4 record, averaged 212 passing yards per game, and threw six touchdowns to nine interceptions.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who has started the past two games, is always expected to see game action. He threw for 327 yards and tossed three interceptions and zero touchdowns in those games.

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said Jameis Winston, who defeated the Ravens in Week 8 but is dealing with a shoulder injury, will likely serve as the No. 3 emergency quarterback. He is questionable to play.

The Browns ruled out five players: Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward (shoulder), tight end David Njoku (knee), linebacker Jordan Hicks (concussion) and running backs Jerome Ford (ankle) and Pierre Strong (concussion).
