Leading Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is questionable to play on Christmas Day against the Houston Texans.
It's a positive sign that Flowers, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, returned to practice Tuesday in a limited capacity. It was his first time practicing during this short week.
Head Coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that he was "pretty optimistic" that Flowers would be able to play. Flowers took a hard hit at the end of a 49-yard catch and run against the Steelers Saturday night.
Flowers leads the Ravens in catches (71) and receiving yards (1,016) and has four touchdowns. He has not missed a game due to injury thus far during his two-year career.
The Ravens ruled out No. 2 running back Justice Hill and wide receiver Nelson Agholor due to concussions. Hill left Saturday's win early after a scary moment and Agholor will miss his second straight game. Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) will also miss a second consecutive contest.
Cornerback Tre'Davious White (shoulder) is questionable to play, though he returned to practice in limited capacity on Tuesday.
Starting guard Daniel Faalele (knee) practiced fully Tuesday and has no injury designation, meaning he'll play. Center Tyler Linderbaum (back) and safety Beau Brade (shoulder) have also been removed from the injury report after full practices.
Ahead of Saturday's game, the Ravens elevated wide receiver Anthony Miller from the practice squad. Miller was up for Saturday's game against the Steelers and played one offensive snap.
Texans Dealing With Season-Ending Injuries and Another Starter Down
The Texans lost wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) and safety Jimmie Ward (foot) to season-ending injuries last Saturday.
Starting guard Shaq Mason (knee) won't play and will be replaced by former Steeler Kendrick Green.
It remains to be seen whether wide receiver Diontae Johnson, who the Texans claimed off waivers, will suit up.
