Zay Flowers Ruled Out for Ravens-Steelers Playoff Game

The Ravens will be without Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers in Saturday's wild-card game against the Steelers, Head Coach John Harbaugh announced.

Flowers, who will miss his first career NFL game due to injury, hurt his knee in last week's division-clinching win over the Browns. He had 74 catches for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season.

"Zay Flowers is not going to be able to make it to the game this week," Harbaugh said Thursday. "So he'll get started again next week and we'll move forward with the guys we have and we're excited about the guys we have, which is everybody else.

"He's locked in on his rehab. He's locked in. Every time I walk in there, he's in there working on it. We'll see how it looks next week."

With Flowers out, Rashod Bateman will be Baltimore's top wideout. Bateman has had a career year, catching 45 passes for 756 yards. His nine touchdowns were the second-most on the team behind tight end Mark Andrews.

The Ravens could also lean more on their tight ends Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Charlie Kolar, who has returned from a broken arm. Harbaugh said the Ravens will move players around.

"We have a lot of weapons, and Lamar [Jackson] will distribute that thing the way he sees fit, play to play," Harbaugh said.

No other Ravens are missing from Thursday's practice, as wide receiver/returner Deonte Harty returned from a personal issue. Harty (knee) would have to be moved off injured reserve and onto the 53-man roster if he were to play against the Steelers.

Running back Justice Hill is ready to play after missing the final two regular-season games duo to a concussion and illness. Safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) is also off the injury report after being limited by a knee issue early in the week.

"I'm all good. I'm ready to go win a Super Bowl and make it all count," Hill said.

Steelers Guard May Play With Broken Hand

Starting Steelers right guard Mason McCormick may play with a broken hand, as he's listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis all week. If he doesn't play, Max Scharping is next up on the depth chart.

Three Steelers players designated to return from injured reserve will not play: wide receiver Roman Wilson, linebacker Cole Holcomb, and defensive lineman Logan Lee.

Pittsburgh's defense is healthier now than the last time when these teams met. Cornerback Donte Jackson (back), safety DeShon Elliott, and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi will all play after missing the last contest.
