Last season was a struggle for two of the Ravens' established stars, cornerback Marlon Humphrey and left tackle Ronnie Stanley.

This season, they're back to playing at an elite level, and it's playing a significant role in Baltimore's five-game winning streak.

Here's a dive into the Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades and snap counts from the Ravens' 41-31 "Monday Night Football" win in Tampa Bay:

  • Humphrey notched a pair of interceptions and gave up just one 15-yard catch on three targets, which helped him earn a 93.9 grade from Pro Football (PFF). That's the highest grade Humphrey has ever received in his eight-year career. Humphrey's performance underscores the importance of getting him back on the field soon after he didn't play in the second half due to a knee injury.
  • Stanley got the third-highest pass blocking grade of any offensive tackle in the league in Week 7, surrendering zero pressures on 28 pass blocking opportunities. It's his fifth time in seven games this season that he has been graded at 80 or above in pass protection. He is the only left tackle (with at least 50 pass blocking reps) that has not surrendered a sack this season, per PFF.
  • It should come as no surprise that Lamar Jackson received the Ravens' highest grade of a 92.7 after throwing five touchdowns. He's only topped that three times in his career, once in 2019 (vs. Bengals) and twice last season (vs. Steelers and vs. Dolphins).
  • Rashod Bateman's 80.9 grade is the highest of his career after posting a career-high 121 receiving yards, including a 49-yard touchdown from Jackson in which Bateman shook cornerback Zyon McCollum badly to break wide open deep. Bateman had a whopping 2.1 yards of separation when the ball arrived, per NextGenStats. Bateman played three more snaps than Flowers to pace the wide receivers.
  • Rookie wide receiver Devontez Walker played only special teams (11 snaps) in his NFL debut.
  • Defensive tackle Travis Jones played just 25 defensive snaps (30%). He hadn't played fewer than 60% of the defensive snaps in the previous six games. Nnamdi Madubuike (59), Michael Pierce (36), and Brent Urban (26) had season-highs in snaps.
  • Outside linebacker David Ojabo played 31 defensive snaps, more than the previous two games combined.
