Who's Playing, Who's Not for Ravens vs. Bengals

The makeup of the Ravens' starting offensive line is unknown heading into another game.

Left guard Andrew Vorhees is questionable to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. After being limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, he was a full participant on Friday.

Veteran Patrick Mekari stepped in for Vorhees last week versus the Bills and played well, as did rookie second-round pick Roger Rosengarten at right tackle. That launched the conversation about whether they could remain the starters regardless of health.

After four weeks a Ravens offensive line that entered the year under the weight of major doubts has "good problems."

Arthur Maulet Has Setback, Ruled Out

Nickel cornerback Arthur Maulet returned to the practice field this week following his training camp knee injury, but he won't play Sunday.

Maulet suffered a "soft-tissue setback," Harbaugh said. He's listed with a hamstring injury and has been ruled out.

"He'll be day-to-day probably going forward next week," Harbaugh said. "We'll just have to see."

Maulet would need to be moved to 53-man roster before playing in a game. The Ravens do have one open spot. That spot could go to rookie running back Rasheen Ali, however.

Ali (neck) also was designated to return from injured reserve this week. He was limited Thursday but a full participant Friday.

Bengals Defensive Line Has Gotten Stronger

Cincinnati's weakness has been on run defense so far this season, as the Bengals rank 25th in the league with 145.5 rushing yards allowed per game.

While the Ravens will certainly test that Sunday, Cincinnati's defensive line is at its strongest yet this season.

Defensive end Myles Murphy (a 2023 first-round pick) and defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson, who both returned from injured reserve this week, will both play.

Bengals star defensive end Trey Hendrickson will play despite neck/back issues, as will veteran defensive tackle B.J. Hill (hamstring). Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) is doubtful to play after not practicing all week.

Slot cornerback Mike Hilton (knee) is listed as questionable despite not practicing this week.
