Who's Playing, Who's Not at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Ravens won't have much uncertainty on the injury front going into Sunday's game with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Baltimore had only four players on the injury report, and three of them look like they're in line to play.

C.J. Mosley and Jeremy Maclin Expected to Play

Linebacker C.J. Mosley was a concern earlier in the week after missing practice with a neck injury, but he practiced as a full participant the last two days and is officially listed as questionable. He's had to briefly enter the NFL's concussion protocol each of the last two games after sustaining stingers, but he's been able to return and finish the games.

Mosley is a one of Baltimore's top defenders, and he leads the team with 101 tackles this year.

Another somewhat concerning practice absence was wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (back), who sat out Thursday. He has dealt with shoulder issues for much of the season, but has not been on the injury report with a back issue until this week.

Maclin is officially listed as questionable, and Head Coach John Harbaugh indicated Friday that his absence was more related to rest.

"I'm not worried about it. We give guys rest all the time this time of year," Harbaugh said. "I know a lot gets made out of it. You know if guys are injured. If guys are getting rest, they're getting rest. It's pretty normal this time of year."

Za'Darius Smith Doubtful to Play

Reserve outside linebacker Za'Darius Smith is doubtful to play after missing the entire week of practice with a shoulder injury.

Smith doesn't typically start, but he sees plenty of snaps as part of the rotation. He has 17 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the season. With Smith out, the Ravens will turn to rookies Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams to take on larger roles.

"We have confidence in all those guys," Harbaugh said. "We have five really good outside linebackers. I think they're all top-level guys. It's a deep position for us. Whoever is out there, we expect them to play at a really high level."

The only other player on Baltimore's injury report is reserve offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor (shoulder). He returned to practice this week after missing the last two games, but he's officially listed as questionable.

Steelers Rule Out Three Players

Pittsburgh ruled out three players for this week, including cornerback Joe Haden (fibula) and linebacker Tyler Matakevich (shoulder).

The most significant injury for the Steelers is linebacker Ryan Shazier, who sustained a serious back injury Monday night and is still hospitalized after undergoing spinal stabilization surgery. The Steelers have released limited information about Shazier's status, but his leg movement was limited after the hit.

He won't play the rest of the season and the bigger concern is whether he will be able to walk again.     * *

The only other player on their injury report is safety Mike Mitchell (ankle), who is questionable to play.
